You Can Now... Take part in YCN LIVE!

Between 25th August and 5th September, YCN LIVE will create platforms for emerging talent internationally. New work will be shown in agency, retail and other environments; to inspire its audience and showcase its originator.
As part of YCN LIVE, six outstanding emerging creatives are available to work on a project of your choosing. Full details on each of the six in the Talent Auction are now online, and all are ready for offers.
Agency YCN runs alongside YCN producing creative campaigns, projects and publications both for YCN and external clients; as well as sourcing talent for creative organisations internationally.

James and Joe spend the day at John Brown Publishing

"We spent a day at the design agency and publishing group John brown with a plan for spontaneity. They were unsure about what they wanted except that they wanted a video for their website, and they wanted it to be about John Brown. We toured the building with a camera, making a continuous stop motion animation, playing and interfering with things that we found along the way. Some things worked and some things didn't. Part of the point of this was not to create a slick advert or a clever argument, but to portray John Brown in a fairly honest, niave, and incidental manner, and document the periphery of the daily activities."

Timber!
In the spirit of 'LIVE' we have decided to bring a deceased local tree back to life for one night, inviting people to embellish and decorate hundreds of coloured paper leaves which we will attach to the trees branches, resurrecting it over the course of the evening!
Having been in touch with Hackney Borough Council's arbicultural department to find a suitable tree, we visited them today to trim the winner into shape for the event, with big help from the guys there - huge thanks to Ian Graham and the team for co-operating with us so nicely :)
